Youth Teams
The ethos and ambition of Sport London e Benfica Football Club is to create an accessible pathway from our youth teams all the way to our senior squads.
Following on from our successful Development Centre Programme (for U6 – U11), in September 2024 we added to the Sport London e Benfica FC Youth structure by launching the U12, U13, U14, U16 and U18s youth teams. This was the next progressive step for our talented young players to move up the pathway into our First Team.
The whole ethos and ambition of Sport London e Benfica FC is to create a pathway and give opportunities to talent in the local area. With the hope they can progress, firstly into our Under 18s, then into our First Team and potentially higher into the football league.
We are very proud to say we have had many examples of players moving on up the footballing ladder in recent years.

- Under-12
- The Under-12s play in the Harrow Youth League.
- Under-13
- The Under-13s play in the Harrow Youth League.
- Under-14
- The Under-14s play in the Harrow Youth League.
- Under-16
- The Under-16s play in the Harrow Youth League.
- Under-18
- The Under-18s play in the Harrow Youth League.
To progress with this ambition we have structured our youth set up with two 2 hour training sessions a week, coached by our qualified management and coaching staff all of which and UEFA qualified coaches. We feel this will help our youth teams play the Sport London e Benfica way and make the transition from youth football into 18’s/First Team football a smoother one, giving them the best possible chance to succeed.
